The main objection to Health Care Reform, other than the Repuplican sponsored lies such as “death panels”, “reduction and elimination of Medicare” and “Government interference with my health” is “Who is going to pay for it”?

As Senator Ron Paul (The only Republican with even an ounce of honesty in him) states it pretty clearly in this video. END THE WARS! Hey, what a concept. Stop pouring money into an illegal war and start spending it on our own citizens. Who’d thought?

The ones who started that arguement about costs are probably the same ones who can afford to get insurance. But to those the costs are skyrocketing. In the Miami Herald, the Commonwealth Fund stated;

With so many people who can’t get insurance and must live in pain and many times die unneccessarily, why can’t we have a plan that would cover them? What is the problem? Will it cost too much? How much is a life worth to these people?

Unfortunately, the answer is that too many people are just too greedy and selfish to let others live a decent, pain free life. These people would rather you listen to the lies and propaganda about Socialism, bankruptcy and all sorts of eveil things. The same things they have been saying all along, and have never happened.

Why is it that when you hear from the CONservative (notice how their name start with Con – as in Con Men) side about the Health Care Reform Bill, they use descriptive words like “horrible”, “barbaric” and tell you that the Government is going to take your rights away when you get old and euthanize you.
 
Gawd, these people never give up. Thye didn’t give up during the Bush reign of terror(ism) and they still think that we’re going to believe their propaganda.
 
The sad part of it is that we are always looking for a boogy man, a demon to fight against, never mind that they just don’t exist, they’ll make one up. So to take the offensive (and they are very offensive) to prevent them from being labeled the Demon, they demonize everything about Obama and Progressives, all in the name of power, and their Lobbyist fattened bank accounts.

It is amazing what a Liberal will conjure up. This time however, the missing link to their often ridiculous tactics has been detected. The long and short of it is, they’re nothing more than spoiled angry children. Case in point: Take ‘Poor Rich’, (an Oxy Moron or simply a matter of fact) he actually has it all backwards. It’s the Liberals that are continuously deceiving the country. Have you seen any of the promised change in the way government in D.C. functions? Lobbyist and “fattened bank accounts” still are an on going issue. in fact, this problem may even be bigger now, than ever. One must have sympathy though, for a human being blinded by CONsent. Rich suggests that the con in the word conservative is foretelling;  ‘..con as in con men’. Then of course, just like a spoiled child we, (actually he,) continues to ramble on and whine whine whine.   Enough already with the same old tired augments! The veneer is wearing thin.
 
Fact is the Liberals always have a hidden agenda. They never really are who they portray themselves to be. Nor do they do what they say they will do . They purposefully try to CONfuse the issues to disguise and CONceal their real motives. They want to CONtrol everything. Add Healthcare Reform to The Stimulus Plan and Cap and Trade and they just might! What a mess!

Rich, here’s a suggestion, for you and everyone else; this includes Liberals and Conservatives. Look up the word conservative. Then apply it to the conventional wisdom of Thomas Jefferson.

There is one dragon that continues to raise its head. It is the whole ordeal of Obama’s Birth Certificate. It just won’t go away.
The fact is The President never released the original long form hospital birth certificate. Instead, a short form Certificate of Live Birth has been finally submitted. The Hawaii Department of Health’s Birth Record Request form does not give the option to request a photocopy of the long form. The Short Form offers enough information to apply for a passport. It omits certain information such as birth weight and parents hometowns. Still, it does constitute officially, proof of birth in Hawaii.
 
Technically, the short form, The Certificate of Live Birth is a  birth certificate. The Obama Administration has offered a COLV, complete with The Official State Seal. Interestingly, Obama’s parents listed two different hospitals on the certificate.
 
Shwew, what an ordeal just to get a candidate for president and eventually The President Of The United States to adhere to an important constitutional requirement. The President Of The United States Of America, must be a “natural-born citizen.
 
Fact is Obama has refused to release other documents regarding his public and private life. Among the key documents that continue to be shielded from the public by Obama are:
 
* Obama released just one brief document detailing his personal health. McCain on the other hand, released his complete medical file, totaling more 1500 pages
 
* Obama refused to offer his official papers as a state legislator in Illinois.
 
*Obama did not release his client list as an attorney or his billing records.
 
*Obama ignored requests for his records from Occidental College, where he studied for two years before transferring to Columbia University.
 
*Obama’s campaign refused allow Columbia to release his transcripts.
 
Need more?
Obama still hasn’t released the names of those who donated at least one third of the over 750 million raised.
 
Ironically, Obama accused Bush of having “one of the most secretive administrations in our history.” He also remarked and chided than Sen. Clinton for not releasing her White House schedules.
 
So why all the hassle? Why the constant tug-of-war? Currently, unclear.
One thing is for certain, Barack Hussein Obama remains one of America’s most mysterious and opaque presidents ever.

The “Dragon” is more of a right-wing attempt to un-Americanize our President. First he was too black, then he was “Exotic” followed with not being Black enough. Sheesh, give me a break!  The only one that this would be important to is……a racist. No surprise there.

They raise such a stink about it but completely ignore the fact that their own candidate was not a Natural Born citizen but was naturalized at age 16 when congress passed a law giving hose who were born in the Panama Canal Zone citizenship. Naturalized Citizens are not eligible to be elected as President.

As far as his Health Records are concerned..Please…show me where in the constitution it says he has to release them. If it were me I’d tell you it’s none of your damn business.

He has stated that he did not keep his personnal records from Illinois and his successor ……..has stated that whatever he did leave was discarded. His official records are kept  by the state. So what’s the problem???

How many records do the right-wing fanatics need before they find something, just something that they can pin on him because he’s too black, not black enough, too exotic or non-American????

I just wish they would start paying attention to the important things and stop trying to find some petty nonsense so they can point “see, see see, I told you so!

With statements like this: “The Republican National Committee will engage in every activity we can to slow down this mad rush while promoting sensible alternatives that address health care costs and preserve quality,” it’s a wonder that the Democrats aren’t pushing this bill through even faster. They also don’t provide any alternative to the bill.

What does the Republican party have against Health Care Reform? Just follow the money trail to find the answer!

Pharmaceutical companies have spent hundreds of millions on Republican Representatives to “buy” their vote. Then count the hundreds of Millions they spend on Doctors to be their drug pushers and you no longer have to wonder why the Republicans want to keep the present Sick Care system in place. Follow the money trail.

They state that the Government will take over your health care, but that is just another lie. (remember the last 8 years of their rule?) The Health Care reform bill does not usurp your rights but provides you with a lower cost alternative, and alternative that the poor and middle class need the most. I guess you now know why the Republicans oppose it, they represent the rich conglomerates.

The Democrats have done it again. They’ve created a bunch of junk that they can’t wait to shove down our throats. The Health Care Reform proposed plan is very expensive. It does little more than what individual States in the past have done on their own. It was simply called Guaranteed Issue health Insurance. It was issued as an alternative, to those who did not have one. Your acceptance was guaranteed. After all the cockamamie futzing around, all we’re getting with the Dems. proposed Bill is a plan that isn’t as good, for a heck of alot more money. Are you surprised that The Health Care Reform Bill is a Dem. creation? Its got all the markings.

One of best statements I heard recently came from a House Republican. It went by like a flash on one of the TV News Channels. I didn’t catch The Legislators name, sorry. The quote: “..as it concerns my friends on the other side of the isle, don’t listen to all they say, rather watch all that they do..” Dems. talk all kinds of stuff. Then go ahead and do something entirely different.
You never really know their real agenda.

Of course The Republicans are fuming, aren’t you! 1 1/2 Trillion for a lousy guaranteed issue HMO(Health Maintenance Organization). Forget the whining Rich, big business this, big business that. Stop blaming the other guy. Dems. are always so angry and bitter. With all the misgivings of the status quo, The Insurance Industry, still managers to work. If passed, This Bill will bring about change. It’s called disaster.

One more thing, The Government does not want it to seem like they want to take over The Health Insurance Industry. They want other health insurance carriers to exist. The Government simply wants to totally control the Industry and everything else.

Sarah Palin resigned her Govenorship last Friday and now Alaska can get down to doing business instead of having their “Leader” grandstanding across the country. She has pretty much ignored her duties as Govenor since she returned from her failed Vice-presidential bid. Heck, she won’t even live in the State Capitol and tries to run the state from her home in Wasilla, 600 miles away.

She no longer has the support from her own party in the state legislature and has become a liability for the State of Alaska. If this is what she will do to her own state, can you imagine how she will handle being the President? I for one would not want to see her in any office. It seems Gomer Pyle had a lot more sense than she does.

Of course her supporters like to point out that she is a competent Political leader and like to show how she was the Govenor of the countries largest state. However, the population of Alaska is smaller than the City of Miami and she pretty much ran her State like they run Miami.

Of course, if she does decide to run as the Republican candidate, and they choose her, then she most likey will guarantee that almost any Democrat will get elected.

The House Of Representatives moved with sonic speed Monday to pass the controversial “Cap and Trade Bill”. The Bill supposedly would reduce greenhouse gas emissions 17 % by 2020. It would further reduce greenhouse gas emissions 83% by 2050.
 
The trouble is the house introduced and passed this bill within hours. Nobody had a chance to read it.
This conflicts with a campaign promise to have sufficient time allocated so that congress, people and everyone else, could have time to read proposed legislation before it is voted on.
 
This is not the first time that this Democratic dominated Congress rushed through extremely important legislation. The Stimulus Package also got a rush job, only to find out later that it was filled with all kinds of pet projects and agendas, “Pork”.
 
It’s unconventional tactics like these that make you wonder,  what do the Democrats have up their sleeves? What are they hiding?

Sonic speed!?!?!?!? I’m not sure what you mean by that but I doubt Congress has ever acted with anything that could be classified as speed.

But Charlie,  why didn’t you protest when the Republicans not only rammed All of their bills through, but never even allowed the Democrats to see, or participate in any debate, or allow amendements when they were in power?

There is “good” pork and then there is “bad” posk. Every piece of legislation has had both. We have elected our representatives to represent our best interests. Adding “pork” to a bill is part of that. In fact, some bills are pure “pork”.  But then there are “bad” pork provisions, mostly it seems from the Republican party over the past 8 years of their reigh. Remember the Bridge-to-Nowhere in Alaska?
 
There were plenty of people who had a chance to read the house bill so that a decision could be made by the Repulican Representatives, unfortunately those people were the ”dirty energy” lobbyists from coal and oil companies.

Before we can start pointing fingers at our representatives for legislative misdeeds, we need to get rid of all the lobbyists that control both parties.
